My stance as a coach

About Me

Throughout my 20 year career in the technology industry, I’ve found I most enjoy helping organizations and individuals get important things done.

One of the ways I do this is as a coach (I am a certified professional Co-Active coach).

Some random facts about me: I was born and raised in a small border town in Texas and moved to Massachusetts when I was 18; I’m a big fan of storytelling; conservatively, I spend at least 25% of my day laughing; I adore animals; my other identity is as a Program Manager at Google. This (and the rest of me) forms the foundation which impacts how I show up as a person and therefore, as a coach: It’s all good; Everything is informative; Humor is always welcome.

1. It’s all good
Any seed — no matter the source — when tended mindfully, can produce something of great value.

2. Everything is informative
It’s informative if you say you were going to do something and then don’t do it. It’s also informative if you do. Success, failure, disappointment, interest… you name it, it’s informative.

3. Humor is always welcome
I have yet to encounter an experience where humor was not a welcome guest. I will always set a place at the table for humor and leave the door unlocked should it choose to enter the room.
